The Rochester Area Homeschool (RAHS) Defenders Sports programs exist to give homeschool student athletes an opportunity to use their God-given athletic abilities in athletic competition while at the same time encouraging them to glorify God in all they do.

COMING SOON: Registration for the 2025-2026 basketball season!! Registration for Defenders Basketball is initiated by filling out an online form that will be posted under the Registration tab of the navigation/hamburger menu of this site. Registration typically opens in early September and runs until practices begin in early November. Check the Registration tab in early/mid-September for the updated registration form and additional information regarding registration. 2025 MCAC TOURNAMENT SUCCESS! Congratulations to the Defenders Basketball Varsity Girls who took 1st Place in the first ever Minnesota Christian Athletic Conference State Tournament! 

Congratulations also to the Defenders Basketball Varsity Boys who took 2nd Place in the first ever MCAC Boys Basketball State Tournament! Go Defenders!

Congratulations to the Defenders Varsity Boys and Girls Basketball teams for both taking 1st Place in the Crusader Invitational (@First Bapist-Rosemont) held January 10-11th!

Defenders Basketball is now part of the Minnesota Christian Athletic Conference

Beginning with the 2024-25 season, the Defenders Basketball varsity teams now play in the newly formed Minnesota Christian Athletic Conference (MCAC), a league of Christian schools. MCAC is the result of a merger between the former Christian Athletic League and the former Minnesota Association of Christian Schools. Here is the new MCAC website: MCAC website
