The Rochester Area Homeschool (RAHS) Defenders Sports programs exist to give homeschool student athletes an opportunity to use their God-given athletic abilities in athletic competition while at the same time encouraging them to glorify God in all they do.

Registration for the 2025-2026 basketball season is NOW OPEN!! Registration for Defenders Basketball is initiated by filling out an online form that is posted under the Registration tab of the navigation/hamburger menu of this site. Registration will run from now until the first of November. Please direct any questions and inquiries regarding the Defenders Basketball program and registration to Jon Potter, Defenders Basketball AD @ jpotter@defenderssports.org

2025 MCAC TOURNAMENT SUCCESS! Congratulations to the Defenders Basketball Varsity Girls who took 1st Place in the first ever Minnesota Christian Athletic Conference State Tournament! 

Congratulations also to the Defenders Basketball Varsity Boys who took 2nd Place in the first ever MCAC Boys Basketball State Tournament! Go Defenders!

Defenders Basketball is now part of the Minnesota Christian Athletic Conference

Beginning with the 2024-25 season, the Defenders Basketball varsity teams joined the Minnesota Christian Athletic Conference (MCAC), a league of Christian schools. MCAC is the result of a merger between the former Christian Athletic League and the former Minnesota Association of Christian Schools. Here is the MCAC website: MCAC website
